SiteImprove can improve your Web site
SiteImprove, the website checking service launched last year to critical acclaim, is now offering all comers a 14-day free trial of its SiteCheck service. As the name implies, Sitecheck checks a company website for spelling errors, routing problems and a variety of other issues that can put visitors off visiting again. The service is entirely automated and even adds easy-to-use workflows, which any layperson can use to decide, for example, the alt text you use to describe your images is appropriate. Do not take my word for this. The guys over at Public Sector Forums say that Shepway District Council has been using the service to great effect. The fact that the service is now available on a 14-day free trial with no bank card or direct debit details required, is, I think, a tasty freebie.
