About the National B2B Centre
As a Centre of Excellence for e-Business the National B2B Centre offers consultancy and impartial advice to help small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) adopt e-business technologies and tools in the West Midlands.
The National B2B centre’s team consists of expert, experienced e-Business consultants who work with SMEs offering impartial advice in the areas of e-Marketing, e-Trading, e-Collaboration, Supply Chain Solutions, Open Source Solutions and Mobile and Wireless Solutions.
To demonstrate e-Business technologies and tools the B2B Centre hosts an Advice Centre at its Warwick Manufacturing Centre (WMG) residence, with facilities to showcase online solutions that are relevant and affordable to the SME. This unique resource provides the client with an environment where they can receive advice and experience technologies before purchase.
The Centre is a partnership between industry, Advantage West Midlands, the European Regional Development Fund and Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) at the University of Warwick. Public funding means they can provide their services free of charge to qualifying businesses.
The B2B Centre's accreditations include Premier Practice status, awarded by the Institute of Business Consulting in April 2006, making the Centre the first public sector organisation to achieve this status. As only the 27th Premier Practice in the UK this puts the Centre on par with top consulting firms across the country.
A selection of B2B Centre consultants are Technology Means Business accredited, the standard given to credible advisors, providing business IT support to SMEs.
