Recovering deleted files
How to recover a deleted file depends a lot on how it has been lost.

If a file is accidently deleted, there is a good chance it can be restored immediately by 'undoing' the action, either by right clicking on the folder window and selecting undo delete, or by pressing ctrl+z.

When a file is first deleted, it should go to the Recycling Bin, where it can easily be restored.

If a file cannot be restored by either of these two methods, then third-party software will be needed.

Free tools such as Restoration, Recuva and Pandora will restore files deleted from the recycling bin along with some corrupt files.
