Mail merging can be done either online or offline. You can use free online applications to send a personalised newsletter to your customers – just remember to make sure you have permission from the recipient to do so. It can be used offline on most word-processors, such as OpenOffice writer or Microsoft Word, to produce a mail merge quickly and efficiently.
